Session Types & Pricing

Mini session • $225

Mini sessions are 20 minutes long and include 10-15 final, edited images. Because of time constraints, they are kept to 1-2 locations on a property. Perfect for when you just need a handful of great images, as with standard portraits (family or individual), professional headshots, and holiday cards! (Please Note: Mini Sessions must take place within 30-minutes driving distance from Hyde Park, NY.)

special session • $350

Special Sessions are named so because they tend to hit the “sweet spot” of timing and variety! They are 30-45 minutes long, and highly recommended over Mini Sessions for families with little ones who would rather explore and play than smile for a likely-frizzy camera lady. You’re guaranteed 30-50 final, edited images, and a wonderful mix of naturally-posed portraits and completely-candid captures. (Please Note: Special Sessions must take place within 1-hour driving distance from Hyde Park, NY.)

full session • $475

Full Sessions are Special Sessions taken up a notch! For a full 60 minutes, we will frolic about historic grounds and engage with our chosen landscape, leaving time to relax into the art of things and cover quite a bit of ground. You’ll receive 60-80 final, edited images: posed, candid, and very widely varied! 

extended session • $650

The Extended Session is that happy, 1.5-hour medium between a Full Session and a full-blown Adventure. Want to stroll about the quaint shops of Cold Spring and snap shots at all your favorite spots, but still have time for a sunset by the river? Let’s do it! Insert Rhinebeck, Kingston, Beacon, New Paltz, or your favorite Hudson Valley town here. We can throw it back to where you met, or settle in to where you play. This session also applies to hikes and such that don’t necessarily involve, you know, an entire mountain. Includes 90-120 final, edited images.

adventure session • $795+

Whether it lasts 2 hours or 2 days, the Adventure Session is the most jam-packed of sessions that I offer. It can mean one general location that happens to be that aforementioned mountain, or multiple locations throughout an entire weekend. Whether the weekend is here in the Hudson Valley, out on the shores of Cape Cod, or down amidst the cobblestoned streets of the West Village, I’ve got you covered with a natural blend of subtly-directorial and hidden-documentarian styles. Pricing is custom and delivered image count varies.

“lifestyle” newborn session • $525-$675

Newborn sessions in particular take time, patience, and a whole lot of love! Babies can sense stress, so these sessions cannot be rushed. A “Full” Newborn Session includes 1 hour of shooting and 40-60 final, edited images, whereas an “Extended” Newborn Session includes 1.5 hours of shooting, and 60-80 final, edited images. If additional time is needed past that of the Extended Session to obtain the desired shots, it is charged at a rate of $325/hour. micro-weddings & elopements•$1,250+

I’ve always been a hopeless romantic, and I’ve been hopelessly in love with weddings for as long as I can remember. While the bustle and excitement of large gatherings and riotous dance floors are what first drew me to wedding photography, the intimate moments of the day and the friendships I’ve made along the way are what’ve kept me here. Micro-Weddings & Elopements thus combine and allow for what I feel is most important when celebrating love: Depth, Togetherness, and Time.

non-wedding events • custom

Because “Non-Wedding Events” is a pretty ambiguous category, it’s hard to give a starting price without first gathering some details. These event packages are thus all fully-customizable; generally speaking, they combine straight-up partying with a slowed-down portrait sesh, or they could merely be one or the other! We’ll decide this together over a phone call or a cup of coffee.
